China Golf Show is the only dedicated trading and sourcing event covering the entire supply chain in China which is endorsed by the CGA, PGA World Alliance, and other leading associations. First organized in 2002, the event came under the Reed Exhibitions banner in 2010. Reed also organizes the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, the world’s largest annual golf exhibition, and the PGA Expo, held each fall in Las Vegas. China Golf Show also has a sister show, Asia Golf Show, organized each fall in south China.
About China Golf Show 2011
The 2011 Show had more than 350 recognized golf brands in attendance and 24,000 square meters of floor space, which set a new record for China’s largest ever golf show. All in all it was a busy three days as enthusiastic crowds filled the aisles.
A barometer for the business of golf in the year ahead, the show saw a number of star appearances and attendees, such as Liang Wen-chong, Zhang Lian-wei, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. (who gave the show’s keynote speech), Arthur Yeo, Aylwin Tai, Brian Thorburn, Rhett Evans, and Tom Weiskopf, new product launches, outstanding seminars on the growth of the game, player development, golf professional development and greenskeeping, networking events, a new look and feel on site and the announcement of new industry partnerships. .
